It appears that a McNabb to Rams deal is on the table.
The deal consists of McNabb for a 2010 1st and 2nd round picks. If this deal goes through it removes Sam Bradford from the Rams draft board. It could put a butter fly effect on the entire draft. Especially with Holmgren wanting to draft a QB, Bradford could still be open at #7. The chain reaction could result in Clausen dropping to the late 1st round. This move would also allow the Rams to move more freely in the draft, picking up WR’s or TE’s to complement Jackson and McNabb.
This would also mean the Eagles would move into the Kevin Kolb era. Kolb showed flashes last year, but he might need an other year of holding a clip board before he is ready. (ala Aaron Rogers) It could also open up more playing time for Michael Vick.
UPDATE-
OJ Atogwe may be involved in the deal as well.
No official move has been made.
